This original master rerecording of miles davis kind of blue from the mobile fidelity sound lab is wonderful. I had never even consciously listened to miles davis but it turns out i knew some of the songs a little bit. This review is for the sacd. The bass horns drums cymbals have a sonorous timbre which is pleasing.

The sound quality on this recording has a very rich warm buttery sound. It is an album everyone should listen to at least once in their life. I own the original recording of this masterpiece from columbia records and a cd of same. The record sleeve cardboard is very thin.

I bought this as a gift for my vinyl loving friend thinking that if you re going to collect vinyl kind of blue is an essential album to own. Vinyl lp album reissue stereo 180 gram country. So going in half blind and recently discovering sacd i bought this as one of my first purchases. I hate returning things but i had to return this one.
